Burrows Lea Country House is a magnificent Victorian mansion in the heart of the Surrey Hills. It was purchased in 1946 by Harry Edwards initially as his private home. Since 1966 it has been the home of the Charity, Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary. Burrows Lea Country House is the trading arm of this wonderful Charity and we operate in order to raise much needed funds for it and this allows it to continue to operate as "by donation only" charity.

In 2004 the house underwent a major refurbishment to create what today is the perfect venue for all types of events. The first wedding in the new look house took place on 23 July 2005 and since then Burrows Lea Country house has been steadily building its reputation as one the Counties leading Wedding Venues.

The in house Chapel was first registered as a place of Meeting for Religious Worship and the solemnisation of Marriages in 1973. The non denomination Chapel is perfect for everyone and our in House Registrars will work with you to create the perfect ceremony and will tailor it to suit your beliefs and expectations.

Since 2005 there have been a total of 65 weddings at Burrows Lea Country house. Our in house team are experienced at planning and delivering your exclusive and memorable occasion on one of your most important days. We hope that if you choose Burrows lea as your wedding venue that you will join the many couples who return time and again to just have a stroll around the grounds and take it the beautiful scenery.
